Background Acetylcholinesterase, or AChE, is an important protease that terminates the transmission of the neurotransmitter, acetylcholine, by hydrolysis. Hydrolysis by AChE on ACh prevents excessive neural firing between adjacent nerves.Horse Radish Peroxidase (HRP) is an enzyme that utilize organic peroxide compounds as electron donors. Naturally provides protection for plants against pathogens, but can be utilized in molecular biology to convert various substrates to detectable compounds (such as in Western Blotting and ELISAs).Anti-Acetylcholinesterase (Bovine Erthryocytes) antibody is ideal for investigators in Signal Transduction, Cell Signaling, Cardiovascular , and Immunology research. Purity/Specifity Anti-Acetylcholinesterase (Bovine Erthryocytes) antibody is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above.  Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Peroxidase, anti-Goat Serum as well as purified and partially purified Acetylcholinesterase [Bovine Erythrocytes].  Cross reactivity against Acetylcholinesterase from other sources is unknown.
